Once you know your why, it's time to dig deep and look at what your business' purpose will be. What are your goals? What is your mission, as a future baking business?

Below a few commons ones, but by no means an exhaustive list. Feel free to let me know your mission and goals in the comments:

  • You want to grow to a point where you have your own brick-and-mortar shop;

  • You just want to have a small business you can run from home and fit around the rest of your life commitments;

  • Your aim is to provide tasty, healthy bread alternatives to your community;

  • Develop workshops to teach other people how to bake;

  • You want a side hustle, an extra source of income;

  • Create a local food network, collaborating with local farmers or a local mill;

  • Baking brings you a sense of purpose you have not find in other jobs;

  • A little of all of the above or something completely different.

There is no right or wrong, your goals and purpose are your own - and you will find that these change with time and as you grow as an individual within your business. Write down some ideas but don't get too attached to them. It is natural that as you explore more how you will run your business, these might change.
